Diagnosis

levels are still rising

My blood-work came in. The cancer is rising. went from 152, to 323.

I go in March first for CTs, and xrays of the neck, chest, and abdomen.

Hopefully we can find it! I don't want it anymore.

November 2011, calcitonin levels are rising. they are at 152. cancer is too small ultrasound cannot detect where its at yet. we will keep another close eye and give it a couple months to see where its at.

2nd surgery, in Portland

Second surgery, Portland, Or. May,12th,2012.

re-opened my first scar that was only one the front side of my neck, and now extending it from the front/mid part of my neck all the way to the upper left hand side of my neck below my ear.

1st surgery, they removed my Thyroid, a couple lymph nods on the left and right sides of my neck, and what the doc called, a string of pearls headed towards my chest, that were all cancerous.

Growing up watching shows, listing to the news, or having a loved one or friend diagnosed with cancer was something hard to take in. But when you have that one shot of it happening to you... well that's something else. It started October 2010, my senior year in high school.
