Cycling for Wellness

Wellbeing
Since my prostatectomy in May 2003, I have ridden 18,725 miles on my bicycle and climbed 238,857 vertical feet, including the famed Alpe d'Huze in France. My 18,725 miles is 75.2% of the distance around the world at the equator. I'll be in France again this summer to attempt three climbs up Mt. Ventoux in one day, which would earn me a French "crazies" jersey. I would love to have company on this adventure, and I would love to ride with other survivors. I live in Manhattan Beach and mostly ride along the coast and up and over Palos Verdes. I've found cycling to be a great wellness - both mental and physical - tool. Warm regards, Robert
