7 years ago I was diagnosed with an incurable form of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Many rounds of chemotherapy and an autologous stem-cell transplant and I'm still here, living my life with passion, humor and faith.
I live a life of gratitude, thinking every day about the many wonderful people who have been part of my journey, providing me with medical treatments, holistic approaches, spiritual guidance, helping hands and an abundance of love and support.
I wrote The Healing Journal: Taking Control of Your Journey Through Cancer as a way to give back and pay it forward. I'm excited today to present another way for me to show my support to those who work so compassionately with families facing a cancer journey. To celebrate my 7 years post diagnosis I am holding a draw and donating 7 sets of books to winning cancer support groups or charities.
Each set consists of 15 copies of The Healing Journal: Taking Control of Your Journey Through Cancer and includes free shipping within Canada and the continental USA. Winners will be announced on December 17th, my 50th birthday - yet another fantastic reason to celebrate!
