The Playlist to My Health

Wellbeing
Have you been to a concert recently? If you haven’t you should consider going. One thing I love about listening to music live is how the experience stays with you when you revisit those songs. This past weekend, I went to a Train and Maroon 5 Concert. The seats were terrible, and worst off I wasn’t even facing the stage. But when the music started to play, I cared less of where I was, sang my heart out, and enjoyed the music.

What is it about music, that it is able to dictate our emotions, our feelings, and even our well being? This powerful tool, that is constantly taken for granted, can be more important to our health than we think. When starting your wellness journey, how do you stay motivated, keep that goal in mind, and move forward? You remind yourself of what you are working toward! For me that’s music, so here is a Playlist of songs I listen to that keep my mind clear and focused, whether it be for my health, career aspirations, that day, or life in general!

“Lifetime on the Run” – Tamarama

“If its love”- Train

“This has got to be the Good Life”- One Republic

“Better Together”- Jack Johnson

“Free” Donavon Frankenreiter

“Waving Flag”- Young Artists for Haiti

“True to Myself”- Ziggy Marley
