on a more personal, sad note

Diagnosis
My brother in law chose to have the robotic-assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy, the DaVinci. As he was a few steps ahead of my husband we greatly relied on his experience through all of this. I have to admit we did not research doctors too much. This all came too sudden and the word "cancer" has already been such a scare to our family.
Not to derail on the subject but a side note if you will. My daughter with whom my husband has adopted many years ago has her "biological" fathers side also. That biological side has given her a sister and brother. Her brother was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma at the age of 3 yrs old. Her brother died last year at the tender age of 8 yrs old.
