My brother in law chose to have the robotic-assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy, the DaVinci. As he was a few steps ahead of my husband we greatly relied on his experience through all of this. I have to admit we did not research doctors too much.

From the day of the news our family was taken a back. We all had no idea and really were scared to move forward. Not only was there one but two that had to go through treatment. I have to admit though, I am bitter sweet about my brother in law being tested positive.

...about 3 years ago my brother in law was diagnosed with prostate cancer. It brought great amounts of fear and concern to my family. It also brought on the begining of much more.
