There is a very informative book called "Living Well with Hypothyroidism" which talks about the balance of T3 and T4 and not just limiting long term to Synthroid (T4).
This past Friday January 28, 2011 I was at work all day and something kept nagging at me. I knew I was forgetting something but couldn't figure it out. A birthday? An appointment? What? It hit me on the way home, it was my 6 month anniversary since my surgery!

Hello. I am a daughter of a cancer patient. She has Leukemia. She was diagnosed in January, 2010 and I am scared to death. I don't know what to expect, and don't like not knowing. Right now, the Gleevac (?) is making her sick as a dog every time she has to take it.

In 2009, my husband had returned from his deployment from overseas. I was happy because I had been raising our son for the past year all on my own. Rylee was born in April of '08 and my husband had left that February. My husband was able to be there for the birth but the raising was up to me.
Well, after going to meet and speak to my new Cardiologist, not that my old one was broke or anything, just not on my Insurance Providers' list of physicians so I had to get on their list for it to get financed, I am getting to go back to work at the old salt mines.
Ugh I had a gross day today. NO veggies and I feel not so great. I was at work running around starting at 6am -8pm, then went straight to the Hollywood Bowl with All. I didnt get to bed till 12
So my partner, Roxanne, went in for her final spinal tap (#8) last wednesday & was only supposed to stay for a brief observatory period. But the fever won't go away. It's been on it's own little roller coaster ride from hell. I just can't wait to see her feel better & come home....
